We took a couple of our cats at a time to the VET because they were developing lesions. We weren’t sure what they were, and after the third trip they thought it might be ringworm. They gave us some different stuff that still didn’t work, so after all 5 of our cats started developing these lesions, we went to a different VET, and he gave us a couple things along with this Lime Sulfur Dip. I mixed about 4 oz. with a gallon of water per directions, and I was able to use the one gallon to soak all 5 cats. The lesions dissappeared within two weeks. One cat seems to be developing a spot again after 2 months or so, but it really worked wonders.
Down side is it is a very strong odor, which I didn’t mind, but my wife was’t too thrilled about. After washing any splashes off of myself and after the cats had dried, they smelled like fireworks, which was an interesting smell, but again didn’t bother me. It also turned the white cat a little yellow for a couple days, but again turned back to normal after a few days.
Definately a good product, and I would recommend for any types of parasites that react to the Lime Sulfur. For the person that it did’t work for, I’m sorry, but maybe your cats had something different than ringworm or some other parasite that wasn’t responsive to the Lime.
