I bought this because Joan Halloway, one of my favourite characters in Mad Men, wore this kind of necklace all the time. Very classy and useful, although I don’t use the pen. I just like the unusual design and look of the 60s. It looks great against black or navy clothing.

Comfortable, rounded toe, soft, soft leather, and unless you wear them with very thick socks, not recommended for cold weather, as they are pretty thin, with no lining. Not much arch support, but neither are a lot of the flats that they make nowadays. Runs large, so if you consider buying, you may want to get at least a half size smaller.

love the look, but the sole and heel are made of plastic! (not even rubber, but plastic– it is slippery; i paid to put a rubber sole and heel on the already overpriced boot). Although they got the “VINTAGE” look right on, they definitely skimped on quality, mostly in the sole. it’s a pretty fitted boot, but a little loose at the ankle with a bubbly looking toe. i would order a half size smaller if you don’t like a long toe look. the leather is kind of thin (not thick or greasy), and probably won’t last a lifetime, but it looks great. it is about mid-calf.
