Bulova Men’s 98B106 Marine Star Calendar Watch This is my first “nice” watch, my wife bought it for our first anniversary. It looks very nice on the wrist and is both dressy and casual. It has a nice heavy feel, but not uncomfortable at all. I especially like the roman numerals and steel rimmed dials on the face and the “seamless” band – the buckle is hidden inside the band. Bulova lists this for 5, if you can get it below 0 grab it if you like the look of it! Looks better in person than in the pics.

Bulova Women’s Marine Star Diamond Bezel Watch #96R42 I love my watch, it is so nice and it looks great with any outfit, from jeans to a cocktail dress, however, I wore it for less than 1 month and it stopped working. I had to send it for repair and now I have it back, I must say that Bulova has a great Repair Service, even though they never contacted me, they returned my watch properly working within the 30 days they state as the time fence.

Meguiar’s M6732 Marine One-Step Compound – 32 oz. I used this to rub out an older boat that I just purchased and it was like magic!! The Meguiar’s One Step along with a Meguiar’s W4000 wool cutting pad cut through severe oxidation and left a very smooth, glossy finish. It was worth every penny, and with 32 oz. of compound, I have enough to do my 20′ bowrider many, many times over. Less than for a Harbor Freight rotary buffer, compound, and a pad, and my boat looks almost new — much cheaper than paying a detailer!!

I bought this for my hubby Christmas 08 and he loved it. We were window shopping and he picked this out as his “fave”. I found it on Amazon.com for almost 1/2 the price and will always price check on-line before I purchase “any” watch. I would reccomend “window shopping” at your local retailer shop to be sure it is what you are looking for, than price check on amazon.com/watches so you know what you are lookiing for and to realize what a great deal you are getting. As I have found with all watches advertised on Amazon, the details of the numbers, graticule, the background embossed dials, etc., are never captured by the camera or shown in the compressed pictures. This is another example of an understated picture.
If you are looking for an impressive watch this could be it. Mine has been knocked around an been abused, but still looks new. Watch goes well with a suit.

Great Watch! I spent a good deal of time browsing through similar watches from Bulova, Invicta, Citizen, Accutron, and Movado, and this was the most beautifully designed one. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks, but I have received superlative comments on it from everyone. It has good weight is beautiful too look at and seems to keep very good time. At half price I was very happy with the purchase. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase. It is a bit flashy though, so if you are not into that I would recommend looking into movado or citizen watches. But if you need some nice bling at a good price this is a great buy. Happy hunting.
