This light works. It’s simply a strong black light (ultra-violet) and to get the expected results, all other ambient light must be diminished or gone. I tested this on soiled potty pads and I saw all the pee, even some that had dried up. We have 2 chihuahuas and they are trained to pee on the “wee-wee” pads, but sometimes they act out and pee elsewhere, especially the male. I have been able to detect several places where pee shouldn’t be, and now that I know, I can treat and clean these areas. I never knew a black-light could be used for such a practical purpose. I would recommend this lamp to anyone with pets that might pee somewhere they shouldn’t. Getting a 12 volt DC power adapter is recommended. It is a positive center 5.5mm X 2.1mm tip, and should have at least 500ma capability. I had a spare lieing around so I know it works. Saves on batteries.
