I had a Rowenta Steam Generator that stopped generating steam. This was a replacement for the more expensive broken one. I love the new pressure iron almost as much as the old steam generator with a couple exceptions. As others have noted, it is hard to tell how much water is in the reservoir so you can run out of steam with no notice. I also prefer the old generator’s refill method. You simply took the tank off the unit, refilled it, snapped it back into place and continued ironing. This unit is a pressure steamer not a generator,so you must wait a fairly long period of time to let the unit cool down before filling and then after you add the water you must wait 6-8 minutes to let the steamer build the pressure back up. Those things being said, I still love the Rowenta. You do get about an hour’s worth of ironing before you need to refill the unit. Clothes look wonderful and the next time you iron the same item it takes even less energy to get the wrinkles out. If it wasn’t for the fill tank issue I would have given it 5 stars!!
