Lego Creator Large Green Baseplate (626) Lego baseplates are wonderful for giving stability to the creations of the Lego or Duplo builder. Duplo baseplates do not work with Legos, however, so this is very versatile for either size blocks. It is 10″ by 10″ in size, a fact I wish had been mentioned in the description as I thought I was ordering a larger one–one that two children could use at the same time. It is somewhat flexible, so will work better on a hard surface than on a padded carpet. Baseplates are essential for the Lego builder, and this is a good size for a smaller project or one builder. I recommend the 15 x 15 inch size for larger projects.

Some of my favorite things on it are how far Tremorox launches the rocks, and how high the tower is, and the features. The features are pretty cool. There are lots of features. Here some I like: the crane, net launcher, dynamite launcher and the drill. They all move!

LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship (7676) 15 year old son review: I bought this set when it first came out in stores. I was pretty happy with the price and last month, i decided that i would attempt to purchase another. BIG mistake. Since they aren’t sold in-store anymore, I looked at the ones on amazon. i was shocked that anyone could charge over 0 for a set that is smaller then a venator cruiser. bottom line: do NOT buy this off amazon. you can get two off the lego store if you preorder. if you have to have this set, try ebay or craigslist. i guarantee you can save over by doing this.

LEGO Star Wars Anakin’s Y-Wing Starfighter (8037) This Lego is one of the new sets for children who are adept at creating with legos. They are required to follow directions and perform steps in sequence to make the many-pieced air ship. As soon as my 8-year old grandson opened the Anakin’s Y-wing Starfighter he left the rest of his gifts to immediately begin making the Lego set. He also permitted his younger brother to assist with the assembly, which was wonderful to see as the older one showed himself to be a patient teacher.
