My daughter bought this toy chest to have at my house last year. It is top quality construction, thick wood that is strong and firm, with beautiful detailing. The animals are not just painted on, but hand carved. The top stays up and doesn’t slam down or pinch little fingers. We love it and it will be in our family for decades. Also, I know she paid much more for it, so current sales price is a real deal for what you get. We are getting the coordinating book rack and step stool for this Christmas.
I bought this for my grandson when he was born. I was extremely pleased with the quality and beauty of this item. I think it will be around for a long time. It is absolutely beautiful, spacious and functional.
